About Us
We first started Twisted Racing in 2004. We had our first car, a 200-inch wheelbase, front-engine slingshot dragster on the track by 2006. Blue-By-U. We ran a 400 sbc carburetor on alcohol.
Our first eight years consisted of us getting acclimated to being car owners and everything was a learning experience.
In 2014 we won our first race. From that point on there was no stopping us. We qualified number 1 numerous times and made it to the final round enough times to finish in the top 5 in the Heritage Hot Rod series.
In 2018 we won our first championship for NorCal Nostalgic in E3 and we were successful in 2019 giving us back-to-back Championships.
We have won a lot of rounds in Bakersfield and Sacramento.
We took home a Redwood Wally from Samoa Raceway.
We have won Kool April Nights. We have always finished in the top 10 at The Redding Dragstrip in every year that we competed for points.

At the end of 2019, we sold the rail and bought the 23 t-altered VooDoo Child that we run now. It is powered by a 400-small block Chevy motor. An injected alcohol, that was built by my good friend Marty Ceniceros. It has a 2-speed Powerglide transmission. Switching over to this car has been a learning curve. We are looking forward to again having a successful race car as we have had in the past.

Fran my wife, is the Team Director and President of Operations.
My Dad, Mike Magee Sr. is my lead Crew Chief.
Marty Soto, my backup Crew Chief.
Michael Soto is my all-around go-to guy.
